1. Operator

The personal data operator is Vladislav Vladimirovich Korolev (individual, Moscow, Russia). Contact for personal data requests: v.v.korolev13@yandex.ru.

2. Data we process

• email address;
• password — stored only as a hash by the authentication provider, not accessible to the operator;
• nickname;
• service usage data: challenges, tasks, completion and miss marks, points, streaks, levels, interface language, challenge time zone, reminder text;
• technical data: user identifier, sign-in session data, IP address and browser details (hosting logs; an audit log for administrator actions);
• for a paid subscription — the email passed to the payment provider and the subscription status;
• with consent to analytics — Yandex Metrica data: cookie identifiers, visits, navigation and on-page actions.

3. Purposes

• sign-up, sign-in and access recovery;
• providing the service: personal and group challenges, marks, streaks, league ranking (nickname and points are visible to members of shared challenges);
• service emails (email confirmation, access recovery);
• subscription payments (once payments are enabled);
• security and abuse prevention;
• public profile — only with a separate consent to dissemination;
• visit analytics — only with consent to analytics cookies.

4. Legal grounds

Consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(1) of 152-FZ), performance of the user agreement (Art. 6(1)(5)) and a separate consent to dissemination for the public profile (Art. 10.1).

5. Processing operations

Collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification, retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access) to the processors below, depersonalisation, blocking, deletion and destruction, using automated means.

6. Processors and third parties

To run the service, data is shared with the following parties acting on the operator’s behalf:

• Supabase, Inc. — USA (database servers in Ireland, EU): storing accounts, profile and activity data, email sign-in
• Vercel Inc. — USA (servers in Ireland, EU): hosting the site and processing requests
• Resend, Inc. — USA: sending confirmation and access-recovery emails
• Permit.io Ltd. — Israel: access control (only the user identifier is shared)
• Stripe, Inc. — USA: subscription payments — only when you subscribe (email)
• ООО «Яндекс» (Yandex Metrica), Russia: website analytics — only with your consent to analytics cookies

7. Cross-border transfer

Some processors are outside the Russian Federation (USA, Ireland — EU, Israel). Cross-border transfer follows Art. 12 of 152-FZ. Yandex Metrica data is processed in Russia.

8. Retention

Data is kept while the account exists. After account deletion or consent withdrawal it is removed from the service databases at once and from providers’ backups when they expire, no later than 30 days. Analytics data is kept in Yandex Metrica according to its settings.

9. Your rights

You can delete the account yourself: Settings → Delete account. Send other requests to v.v.korolev13@yandex.ru; we reply within 10 working days.

• get information about processing and a copy of your data;
• request correction, blocking or destruction;
• withdraw the processing consent — this means deleting the account;
• withdraw the public profile consent with the switch in settings;
• complain to Roskomnadzor or a court.

10. Security

Traffic is protected by HTTPS, passwords are stored only as hashes, database access is limited to the service backend, and administrator actions are logged.

11. Age

The service is for people aged 14 and over.

13. Changes

A new version applies from publication. If the consent changes, the service will ask you to confirm it again.

5. Term and withdrawal

The consent is valid until the account is deleted. Withdraw it by deleting the account (Settings → Delete account) or by writing to v.v.korolev13@yandex.ru. After withdrawal the account and related data are deleted; the service cannot be used without the consent.

6. Age

I confirm that I am at least 14 years old.

Separate consent to dissemination (public profile)

Given separately with the “Show my public profile” switch in settings. When it is on, anyone with a link like bebetter.su/u/<id> can see: nickname, rank, progress points, levels of the six growth areas, current streak, number of completed tasks and number of active challenges. Email, tasks, schedule and reminders are never published. The page is closed to search engine indexing. Collecting or copying this data for automated processing is not permitted. The consent lasts until withdrawn with the same switch; after that the profile page is unavailable.

Necessary

• localStorage “sb-…-auth-token” — your sign-in session;
• cookie and localStorage “bebetterLocale” — interface language, 1 year;
• localStorage “bebetterCookieChoice” — your choice in the cookie notice.

Analytics (only with consent)

Yandex Metrica (ООО «Яндекс», data processed in Russia): “_ym_uid”, “_ym_d”, “_ym_isad”, “_ym_visorc” and other Metrica cookies — visit statistics, click map and session recordings (Webvisor). Without your consent the Metrica code is not loaded.

Changing your choice

Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page or clear the site data in your browser — the notice will appear again.

1. Service

beBetter helps you follow personal and group challenges: check off tasks, see streaks, points and rankings. The service is provided “as is”; features may change.

2. Account

The service is for people aged 14 and over. Sign-up is by email with confirmation. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions in your account.

3. Rules

If the rules are broken, the administrator may hide content or block the account.

• mark only tasks you actually completed;
• do not use insults, illegal content or other people’s personal data in nicknames, challenge names, tasks or quote texts;
• do not try to access other users’ data or disrupt the service.

4. Group challenges

The organiser sets the tasks; members see each other’s nicknames and points in the league ranking. Deleting the organiser’s account deletes the challenges they created together with members’ progress in them.

5. Paid subscription

The paid subscription is currently in test mode and no real payments are taken. Before payments start, an offer will be published: price in roubles, payment, cancellation and refund terms, and seller details.

6. Supporting the project

Voluntary support is not a payment for services and gives no extra rights in the service.

7. Liability

The administrator is not liable for decisions made based on the service data or for temporary unavailability. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by Russian law.

8. Termination

You may delete the account at any time in settings. Personal data is processed under the Personal Data Processing Policy (/privacy).
